The State of the Arts Report would be incomplete without the public's input. Through a telephone survey, information was collected on the perception, opinion and participation of Ohio's public in regards to the State's arts and culture. Members of the public were asked questions about their satisfaction with life in Ohio; leisure activities and hobbies; childhood arts experiences; where they find information on arts and cultural events; what keeps them from attending such events; the quality of the arts in Ohio; and public funding for the arts. The responses reflect each individual's interpretation of what the arts are and how they are a part of daily life.
